Victory Baptist Temple is a growing church that loves people. We are an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church that enjoys dynamic preaching, traditional music, and a familial atmosphere.
Pastor T.J. Isom
I was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and have spent most of my life here. At the age of 6 I made a profession of faith when I was included in a group of kids that were also making professions of faith. When I was 11, I truly accepted the Lord as my savior in Children’s church. I have been married to my wonderful wife, Christy Isom for more than 28 years. We have 4 children, Tiffany, Emily, Maegan and Lindsey. I began attending Victory Baptist Temple when I was 12 years old after being invited to a youth activity at Frontier City. I have served at Victory Baptist Temple most of my adult life, and in December of 2008 felt the calling to pastor. I knew that I was called but did not fully surrender until 2011. In August of that same year, I began Bible College at Beth Haven Baptist Seminary. I graduated with an undergraduate in Biblical Studies and a Graduate in Biblical Counseling. I would later go on to receive my Master of Theology from Calvary Baptist Bible Seminary. After serving for 8 years as the Associate pastor in our church home, I became the Pastor on May 8 of Victory Baptist Temple after the death of our founding Pastor, Leonard Sissons. As a pastor, I count it a true pleasure and blessing to serve the people of Victory Baptist Temple and would like to thank The Lord for all that he has done.
